FAQ
Certifications and quality
What certifications do your products carry?
Request the assigned plant's SIF registration and current food-safety certificates. ISO and Halal status depend on the plant, product and destination. See /certifications for the verification process.
Are your products Halal certified?
Halal options may be available for eligible chicken and beef orders from approved plants. Confirm the certifier and destination recognition. Pork is not Halal.
What is SIF certification?
SIF is Brazil's federal inspection and export approval. It confirms a plant is government-inspected and export-eligible. Read our explainer at /blog/what-is-sif-certification.
How can I verify your certifications before ordering?
We provide the producing plant's SIF number and the relevant certificates on request, and confirm they appear consistently on the health certificate and labelling for your shipment.
Do you provide health and veterinary certificates?
Yes. Every eligible shipment is accompanied by the sanitary or veterinary health certificate required for clearance at your destination.
How do you ensure consistent quality?
Confirm the assigned plant's approvals, agree written product specifications and request the loading and temperature records applicable to your order.
FAQ
Ordering and pricing
What is your minimum order quantity?
Frozen products typically ship by the full container (FCL). Exact MOQs depend on product and packing. Request a quote at /quote and we will confirm the carton mix and container fill.
How do I request a quote?
How quickly will I receive a quote?
Send the cut, volume and destination. Our export team will confirm available pricing, specifications and response timing for your enquiry.
Do you quote FOB or CIF?
Both. FOB means you arrange freight from the Brazilian port; CIF means we arrange freight and insurance to your destination port.
What payment terms do you accept?
Payment terms are agreed per order. International food trade commonly uses Letter of Credit (LC) and Telegraphic Transfer (TT).
Can I order a mix of products in one container?
Depending on product and packing, mixed loads may be possible. Ask when you request a quote and we will confirm feasibility and container fill.
FAQ
Logistics and cold chain
How do you maintain the cold chain?
Agree the product's required temperature, loading checks and available monitoring records with the plant and carrier. See /blog/cold-chain-logistics-frozen-meat for the buyer checklist.
Which ports do you ship from?
Loading is coordinated from Brazil's main reefer terminals, including Santos, Paranagua, Itajai, Navegantes, Itapoa, Sao Francisco do Sul, Rio Grande, Suape, Pecem, Salvador and Vitoria. The loading port is confirmed per order alongside the Incoterm, because the two together determine what your quoted price covers. The full list is on the shipping page.
How long does shipping take?
Transit time depends on the destination port and routing. We provide a transit estimate with every quote so you can plan cold storage.
What temperature are frozen products shipped at?
The set point and acceptable limits come from the approved product specification and shipping agreement. Request the available temperature records for your shipment.
Do you handle container loading and documentation?
We coordinate the agreed loading and documentation process with the assigned plant and logistics providers. Confirm responsibilities in the quotation.
FAQ

What documents come with a shipment?

We prepare the standard export documentation and align certification and labelling to your destination's requirements. Always confirm current national rules with your local authority.
Can you meet my country's labelling requirements?
